A key focus was to refine the overall recruitment strategy for the 13 doctoral fellows and to update partners on the status of the communication activities, including the development of the project website and the upcoming announcement of vacancies.
Shared understanding
The consortium revisited the project‑wide timeline, highlighting critical milestones, interdependencies and the scheduling of network‑wide training events. Building on this strategic framework, partners then worked through each individual project, using the Research Fellow (RF) descriptions to refresh the shared understanding, align the scope of the projects, and fine‑tune objectives, methods, secondments and expected results.

This process helped to harmonise the content of the individual projects across clinical, analytical and mechanistic themes and to identify clear points of collaboration between fellows.
